Sammy Eubanks and the Work'in Class take home second place at the 2019 International Blues Challenge

VOTED BEST MALE VOCALIST 12 TIMES IN THE STATE OF WASHINGTON.!!! (SINCE 1999) AND IS A HALL OF FAME MEMBER OF THE INLAND EMPIRE BLUES SOCIETY.

Artists like BB King, Robert Cray, Little Ed and Blues Imperials, Philip Walker, Kenny Neal and anyone that plays the Blues has been honing their craft their entire lives. At the other end of the spectrum artists like George Jones, George Strait, Marty Stuart, Merle Haggard, Lee Roy Parnell and anyone who has ever banged it out in a Honky Tonk have been honing their craft as well. Sammy can stand on either stage, and has many times. It was recently stated,” Along the borderline between Country and Blues some genius arises. Delbert McClinton and Sammy Eubanks have the same borderline genius.”
In 2014, mulitple BMA winner John Nemeth said about Sammy Eubanks, "Now THAT Mother F%#&ER can sing!!!"

I've known Sammy for almost 40 years! He was gracious to allow me to jam with him every Wednesday night in the Spokane Valley back in early 2000 where one night he introduced me to my wife about 20 years ago! I've been to many of his gigs and he has performed at benefit concerts for a common-interest cause of ours (Women & Children's Free Restaurant). I am glad to see what it says here about his ability to cross over from Blues to Country and back again. It is sooo true! Comparing him to Delbert McClinton is pretty spot-on! A great voice, a talented guitar player, great performer, a great sense of humor, and he will sometimes surprise you with a request from out of nowhere like he did me when I once asked him to play an oldie on the spot, "Runaround Sue" by, Dion. He nailed it! And now I request the song every time I see him playing like last year at Templin's Resort in Post Falls, Idaho. The crowd loved it too!! Something that is rarely talked about; Sammy has been a very active contributor to the community and our country by doing may benefit concerts for free. Sammy also encourages, supports, and has even welcomed less fortunate and differently challenged people on stage to encourage them to pursue their dreams. And Sammy has sung the Star Spangled Banner at countless public events to bring the audience together in a patriotic way at those events. ~ Thanks for all you do Sammy! ~ Wishing all the best to you now and forever!

Sammy, I was privileged to experience your trio's musical magic at a performance in the South Puget Sound area a year or so ago with some close friends. You were gracious in taking a few moments during an intermission to talk to me and a couple of friends and later acquiescing to my out-of-the-"blues" request for you to absolutely kick it with a righteous ZZ Top cover of "Fool for Your Stockings", have mercy! :-) I would again be privileged to experience you and your mates' performance of same. I look forward to your performance "for peanuts" on January 17. I'd be happy to buy a round or two for you and the mates before the show, if you are so inclined. My son, age 17, and his best friend, same age, both of whom are young emerging guitarists having been informed ("corrupted") by blues, rock, jazz, metal, etc., would love to experience the performance of a successful "working musician" such as you, Sammy. Alas, I'm not sure how to pull that off "legally". Peace, brother, an all the best for a successful 2015.
